Paisleys & Posies

1st Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop-Pink Monday!

Pink Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop – a collection of ideas from Stampin’ UP! demonstrators all over the globe featuring shades of pink in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Over the past year, Cancer has touch several lives in my small circle of family and friends.

Cancer doesn't care what color your skin is, what your political views are, where you live or who you live with. Cancer doesn't care about how old or young you are, your financial status, your level of education or even the color of your skin.

Bottom line...Cancer just doesn't care-it has no boundaries.

My desire for sharing in this project is to raise awareness for Breast Cancer-for early detection, for treatment options but most importantly to give hope and encouragement to someone that is struggling with this disease that does not discriminate.

Card #2 with Rhinestones

What did I use to create this beauty? (scroll down to bottom for complete supply list and links)

  • Stamp Set: Paisleys & Posies and Flourishing Phrases
  • Paper: Basic Black and Whisper White
  • Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie
  • Accessories: Enamel Shapes-Regals (card #1) and Rhinestones (card #2)
  • It's All in the Details:
    • As I was pulling out the ink pads for this project I realized that I had absolutely NO idea where my Melon Mambo ink pad is located!
    • I did a quick search in all the places I could have possibly strategically placed it (read misplaced it) beside where it belonged and I came up with ink pad.
    • So...I improvised and it worked out pretty well.
    • Yes, that is a baby wipe and ink refill. Simply drop some ink on the wipe and use as you would if you had the ink pad.
